My new IBM T60 is the first laptop I've had with a fingerprint scanner. I've wanted to play with this technology for a while and finally had a chance. How cool. Easily can bypass the login password by simply swiping your finger across the sensor.

My question is why do police departments still fingerprint people using ink? How ancient.
